Dr. Ashwini Rajasekaran is the founder of BioSignatures Tech, leading innovation in neurogenomics and multi-omic biomarker discovery. With a Ph.D. from NIMHANS and Post-doctoral research experience at UBC, St.Paul’s Hospital and MITACS Accelerate Industrial fellowship at Universite de Sherbrooke, her work spans schizophrenia, asthma, transplant diagnostics, and mRNA vaccine development. She has published in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Human Immunology, and ERJ Open Research, with over 500 citations.

Driven by personal experience with delayed diagnosis, Ashwini aims to bridge omics with healthcare outcomes guided by scientific rigor, strategic clarity, and a commitment to equity in precision medicine. Her cross-functional translational research experiences across omics of diseases will shape the scientific vision of BioSignatures.

Dr. Jeru Manuel, Co-founder and Scientific Director of BioSignatures Tech, brings a rare blend of operational precision and scientific depth to the company’s leadership. With a Ph.D. from NIMHANS, India and translational NSERC, Canada’s RNA Innovation postdoctoral fellowship, he brings deep expertise in molecular neurogenetics. He plays a pivotal role in translating complex research into scalable screening and diagnostic platforms, ensuring that scientific rigor is matched by clinical relevance, driving execution across regulatory strategy and partnerships.

Jeru’s experience spans academia, industry and start-up space in both Indian and North American biotech ecosystems, where he has successfully bridged academic innovation with industry application. This global translational perspective would enable BioSignatures Tech to build solutions that are not only scientifically advanced but also commercially viable and globally impactful, which will help position Biosignatures Tech at the forefront of early detection and therapeutic advancement in neurological health.
