Agreement to Terms

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://biosignaturestech.com (the “site”), operated by BIOOMICSIGNATURES Tech Private Limited (“BioSignatures,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

About the Site

The site provides general information about our company and our work in disease research. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision support. Do not rely on site content for clinical or emergency purposes; consult qualified clinicians and emergency services as appropriate.

Research datasets we may handle with collaborators are administered under separate contracts (DUAs), IRB/ethics approvals, and project SOPs. Those arrangements, not these Terms, govern any access to research environments or data.

Changes to the Site/ Terms

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site, and we may update these terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will revise the effective date and may post a notice on the Site. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Intellectual Property Rights

The site, including text, graphics, logos, code, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by IP laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Ssite for non-commercial, informational use. Except to the extent permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, perform, display, create derivative works, or remove proprietary notices without our prior written permission.

Trademarks. Our names, logos, and marks, and those of third parties are protected; no licence to use them is granted by these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site;

• probe, scan, or test security or bypass access controls;

• upload or transmit malware or other harmful code;

• scrape, harvest, mine, or bulk-download site content or data (except public search engines following robots.txt, or as otherwise permitted by law);

• reverse engineer the site or its software;

• use the Site for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful purposes;

• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;

• use automated means to access the site except as expressly permitted or as allowed by law.

Third-party sites & services

The site may link to third-party websites/services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited personal data may be handled in connection with the Site and our communications (the Site currently has no active collection, no accounts, and no analytics/ads cookies).

Site Availability & Disclaimer

We aim to keep the Site available, secure, and accurate, but make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, current, or free of harmful components. Content is provided “as is” and “as available,” and may be changed, corrected, or removed at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Site’s scientific or technical information is general and not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioSignatures and our directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility.

Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed INR 10,000 (or the minimum amount mandated by applicable law, if higher).

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BioSignatures and our personnel from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

Suspension/termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you’ve violated these Terms or to protect the Site, users, or third parties.

Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws, including export-control and sanctions laws. Accessing the Site from territories where its content is illegal is prohibited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts principles. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes. You agree to that venue and waive objections to it (to the extent permitted by law). Local consumer or mandatory laws may grant you additional rights that these Terms do not limit.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., outages, cyberattacks, government actions).

Miscellaneous

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications about it. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect (severability). Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a re-organisation, merger, or asset transfer. Headings are for convenience only. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
