About me: I’m a curious biotechnologist who loves connecting the dots between biology, data, and big ideas. Whether it’s pipetting in the lab, decoding RNA-seq datasets, or diving into research papers, I enjoy exploring the science that helps us understand life better. I thrive on learning new things, collaborating with people from different fields, and asking way too many “why” questions until I get to the heart of a problem.
Scientific Pursuits:
Fields of passion: Translational medicine, epigenetics and aging biology.
The Invention that inspires me: CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing. It represents hope for curing genetic diseases and has completely transformed how we study biology.
Scientist/Innovator whose work resonates deeply: Prof. Steve Horvath and his pioneering work on the epigenetic clock, which changed how we measure and understand biological age.
Inspirational Reads: The Emperor of All Maladies by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee
How I’d like to contribute to the future of science: I want to make science more predictive, shifting healthcare toward catching diseases before they catch us. My dream is to contribute to discoveries in aging and epigenetics that can be translated into real-world solutions, helping slow or even prevent agerelated diseases and ensuring that people enjoy not just more years of life but healthier, more meaningful ones.
